Méthodes

Méthode de collecte

The study was designed as a combination of an experimental study (cluster-randomised controlled trial (C-RCT)) aimed at assessing the effectiveness of two early prevention programmes PATHS and the Triple P, and a developmental (panel) study. From the outset, z-proso aimed at including multi-informant measures (i.e., children/youths, teachers, parents) covering various behavioural domains. From 2004-2022, the research team has carried out 4 waves of parent interviews (P1-P4), 3 waves of child interviews (K1-K3), 4 adolescent surveys (K4-K7), 2 young adult surveys (K8-K9) and 11 postal teacher surveys (T1.1-T7.1/VT7.1). Please refer to the pdf file “z-proso_DataCollectionsInstruments_W1-9.pdf” to get an overview of all scales and domains. To get an overview of the settings and the procedures, see PDF file “z-proso_K4-8_handbook.pdf”. Data collections were carried out using different methods: Children, adolescents & young adults: Age 7, 8, 9 (K1-K3): School-based multimedia computer-assisted personal interviews (CAPI); 45’; 1321≤n≤1360 Age 11, 13, 15, 17 (K4-K7): Classroom-based paper & pencil (PAPI) surveys; 90’; 1147≤n≤1446 Age 20, 24 (K8-K9): Computer-assisted self interviews (CASI); 60’-90’; 1160≤n≤1180 Parents: Age 7, 8, 9, 11 (P1-P4): Home-based CAPI interviews in 9 languages (German/Swiss-German, Albanian, English, Italian, Portuguese, Serbo-Croatian, Spanish, Tamil, Turkish); 80’; 1075≤n≤1239 Teachers: Age 7-13 (T1.1-T5.1): Postal PAPI surveys in every school year, twice a year in the first two grades; 7’/participant; 976≤n≤1349 Age 15 (T6.1): Postal PAPI survey; 7’/participant; n=1292 Age 17 (T7.1/VT7.1): Postal PAPI survey with teacher and/or vocational trainer; 7’/participant; 616≤n≤903 For more information, see the following document: - “z-proso_ProjectOverview.pdf"
