The second work package aimed to record the status quo regarding e-inclusion in the context of VPET in Switzerland. For this purpose, a trilingual online survey was conducted from June to October 2022, in which professionals from all types of organisations that can be assigned to VPET in Switzerland were surveyed. This includes organisations at upper-secondary level (regular and separative VET organisations) and at tertiary level (colleges of higher education, universities of applied sciences and universities of teacher education), as well as continuing education and training organisations (CET).

The full survey covered around 1280 educational organisations throughout Switzerland. Within the framework of the survey, extensive assessments on the topics of digitalization, inclusion of PwD and digital accessibility were collected from 431 professionals. In relation to the population, the response rate is about 23%. For the organisation-specific evaluations, the answers of the professionals surveyed were first assigned to the corresponding organisations. In total, the 431 professionals could be allocated to 289 different organisations. While in three-quarters of the organisations one professional completed the survey, in 16% of the organisations two professionals took part. More than three professionals per organisation could be reached rarely.

Auswahlverfahren

The online survey was sent to the heads of the organisations with the request that they fill it out themselves and forward it within their organisation to people who have a management function in education or training or who deal with the topics of diversity, inclusion of people with disabilities, disadvantage compensation, accessibility, or e-learning.
