Kurzbeschreibung

The study DigiPrim ("Digitalization in Swiss schools and its impact on educational trajectories: extent, opportunities and risks") is a research project at the University of Bern and contributes to educational research in Switzerland in the context of digitalization, covering levels from primary school to post-compulsory education. The study involves assessing digitalization in Swiss primary schools. For this purpose, survey data was collected from parents and school principals as part of an add-on study during a national large-scale assessment (ÜGK / COFO / VECOF 2024 Field Trial) in 2022, which involved testing students at the second school year (HarmoS level 4). The data covers responses of 167 school principals from 172 school sites and 2736 parents . The surveys covered topics such as socio-demographics of parents and school principals, school infrastructure, school culture, leisure activities and digitalization within the home and educational environment.
