Direct Democracy in Switzerland in the 21st Century (DDS21)

Méthodes

After each popular vote at the federal level, a cross-sectional online survey is conducted among a random sample of Swiss voters (Swiss citizens aged 18 years and above) taken from the SRPH. At the end of each cross-sectional online survey, respondents are recruited into an online panel survey, with waves after each federal vote. Only respondents with a valid email address are recruited into the feed-in panel survey.

Entretiens standardisés - par correspondance

Sample members are eligible voters, i.e. Swiss citizens residing in Switzerland, aged 18 years and above

Random sample stratified by language region from the SRPH by the Federal Statistics Office

Respondents from the cross-sectional and the panel survey participate in a raffle of 3 x 300 CHF for both surveys. In the cross-section, invitation letters and reminders are sent by postal letter. In the feed-in panel, all contact is per email.
