MOSAiCH is an annual cross-sectional survey that focuses on the Swiss population’s values and attitudes towards a wide range of social issues. The thematic focus of the 2025 edition lies on Work Orientations, defined by the 2025 module of the International Social Survey Program (ISSP) which is repeated for the fifth time (http://www.issp.org). This international part is supplemented by selected sociodemographic questions, as well as a module composed of questions specific to Switzerland. The questions of this Swiss part are selected through a public call, either expanding the ISSP module thematically or measuring other dimensions that are of special interest to Switzerland.
Topics:
- Work Orientations V (ISSP 2025), including international optional questions.
- Sociodemographics (education, work, income, household composition, nationality, religion, etc.)
- Questions from 2 different proposals from the call on: 1) Boundaryless or normative careers? Perceived age norms for men and women’s career transitions, 2) Work as a Source of Meaning in Life; as well as a selection of topic relevant questions repeated from previous rounds (career adaptability, work and gender perceptions, workplace relationships, health problems, stress, and available support).
