Information has been gathered on the Hybrid-Method used in the Netherlands to determine the energy requirements of consumer goods. The method used in the Netherlands has been adapted to the situation in Switzerland (Knoepfel 1995, Zaccheddu 1997). Main problems appearing during this task are the different systematic between the input/output tables available for the Netherlands and Switzerland. An important distinction for the results is caused by the differences in the electricity generation between the two countries.
