Kurzbeschreibung

Tomorrow's competition will no longer take place among single companies, but among Value Systems. A Value System (VS) is the organisation of all companies (e.g. different sites, supplier, OEM, Distributor, Service Provider) that collaborate for the customer solution. As new Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are getting available, European companies will face the opportunity to substantially improve their competitiveness by enhancing the effectiveness of their Value Systems. But that means to broaden the domain of interest for the management and to actively re-engineer inter-company-processes of the VS. TELEflow will provide methodologies and tools for enhancing the competitiveness of the Value System. A framework will be provided that allows managers to structure the complexity of the VS, to understand their role in the VS and to support pro-active decision making in the VS. Best practice examples will be provided to learn from. The challenge of competitive VS will be the integration of geographically distributed sites and companies (virtual organisation) towards the one customer solution. Based on the TELEflow VS Process Reengineering methodology the combination of advanced State-of-the-Art Logistics and ICT Solutions will allow for the VS Integration. Tools will be developed to enhance the VS-Integration process. Real life pilots (including SME's) will demonstrate and validate the approach. A User Group is open for interested users.
