A bilateral contract between the end user and the responsible Data Service Unit handles the restricted access to data where there is potential disclosure risk. If you don’t select any Additional Restrictions (“None”), the data can be used for non-academic purposed (journalists, NGOs, etc). COCON wurde bisher durch den Schweizerischen Nationalfonds, das Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development sowie die Universität Zürich finanziert. Directed by Prof. Dr. M. Buchmann, this longitudinal study is led by the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development (University of Zurich) in the German-speaking and the French-speaking parts of Switzerland since 2006. Until now, the Cocon survey has been financed by the Swiss National Foundation, University of Zurich and the Jacobs Foundation. In the current publication, data from population(s) x and from wave(s) y have been used. x: adapt each time according to the following scheme: → 1 or 2 or 3 (only data from population 1 or 2 or 3) → 1, 2 or 2, 3 (data from populations 1 and 2 or data from populations 2 and 3) → 1, 2, 3 (data from populations 1, 2 and 3) y: adapt each time according to the following scheme → 1 or 2 or 3 (only data from wave 1 or 2 or 3) → 1, 2 or 2, 3 (data from waves 1 and 2 or data from waves 2 and 3) → 1, 2, 3 (data from waves 1, 2 and 3) I agree to the following: 1. to use the data cited above and related instruments only for scientific research and education within an academic framework, and for no other purpose; 2. to use the data with respect to standard norms for data protection, and not to undertake to attribute anonymous data to specific individuals; 3. to respect above all individual confidentiality, and not to divulge any information that might compromise this confidentiality; 4. to communicate obtained results only in a way that does not identify individual cases (i.e., persons, households, or institutions); 5. to cite used data and documents in conformity with scientific standards (using the citation above), to inform FORS and the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development of all publications based on this material and to give the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development a copy of the publication; 6. to use the data in a conscientious and informed manner, notably by consulting the related documentation, and to respect scientific ethical rules of conduct; 7. to destroy the data after analyses are completed, and to confirm this to FORS before publication of results; 8. to not transmit these data to third parties, whether in the same or modified form, whether paid or for free, except a. when I explicitly have conferred work to them relating to the same intended research project; b. in the framework of academic teaching for pedagogical purposes (e.g., statistical or methodological courses), and after having obtained the consent of FORS for such a transmission of the data; 9. to communicate to third parties, should the case arise, the above conditions, and to ensure that these are respected.
