The natural language processing method used in this project delivers two datasets, which are contained in the zip-file “UBase_ITSkills”. See Eggenberger C, Backes-Gellner U (2023) IT skills, occupation specificity and job separations. Economics of Education Review. 92:102333. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.econedurev.2022.102333 for more details. The dataset “EDV_BERT_for_Ubase.csv” shows the values for the different IT skills across Swiss Vocational Education and Training (VET) occupations. It is a comma-separated file.csv file. The dataset “topickeywords_for_Ubase.xls” shows the keywords for each IT skill (i.e., topics). It is a regular xlsx-file. The .txt file "documentation_IT Skills in Vocational Education and Training" contains the description of the variables.
