Experiment 2: - A laboratory study - Participants seated in front of computer screen in a dark room and presented the Dress in three context conditions (as small squares, as strips, and as the entire Dress) - Participants used a computerised colour picker (https://www2.unil.ch/onlinepsylab/ColourPicker/html/colorpicker.html) to match the colours they perceived on the parts and the whole Dress - Participants reported the colours they saw on the Dress
