Interest Group Preferences in Deficit Countries – Ireland, Spain and Greece
English
The dataset ‘Interest group preferences in deficit countries – Ireland, Spain and Greece’ provides a wide range of information on interest group positions on economic and social policy issues during the Eurozone crisis, which took place between 2010-15. The data was collected via population-surveys directed to interest group populations in Ireland, Spain, and Greece during the summer of 2017.
The codebook is intended as support for researchers wanting to draw on the dataset, and consists of three parts. Section 2 summarizes the data collection procedure. Section 3 provides a table-form overview of all variables included in the dataset. Finally, section 4 presents survey item formulations for all questions used to code dataset variables, as well as response categories and recode values. To get the complete coding of the variable sector, please use the codebook and the supplementary document for the variable sector. A third document provides further information on the SNSF-funded project based on the final project report.
